A pit price covers only the material at the pit, so trucking and tax come on top. A delivered price rolls material, trucking and sales tax into one per ton number. Mouse Mining quotes delivered only, billed on actual delivered tons, so the quote can drop straight into your bid.

What is the difference between a pit price and a delivered price?
A pit price is the cost of material loaded at the pit. You still arrange and pay for trucks. A delivered price includes the material, the haul to your site and sales tax, as one per ton figure. With delivered pricing, one supplier owns the whole job.

What should a bulk rock quote include?
A usable quote names the material or spec, the estimated tons, the delivery location, the per ton delivered price, sales tax treatment, the terms and how long the quote is good for. Mouse Mining quotes are good for 30 days.

How is the final bill calculated?
You are billed on the tons actually delivered, from the scale tickets, at the per ton price on your quote. If you estimated 50 tons and 48 were delivered, you pay for 48. That is why getting the estimate close matters for your bid, not your bill.
